Environmental sustainability is not a new concept, having been around for at least 20 years or so.

But the recent focus on various sustainability practices, such as using low-wattage light bulbs and buying carbon credits, along with national governmental initiatives such as those required by EO 13423 have created the need for a solid introduction to the principles, processes and practices of this current policy buzzword.

ETCI's Introduction to Sustainability workshop introduces participants to all three levels of a sustainability framework, from practices (such as buying Energy-Star appliances and building to the LEED standard) through the processes encompassed by an environmental management system (such as ISO 14001), to international standards and principles such as those promulgated by the Rio Declaration or The Natural Step.

This one-day overview is designed for anyone wanting a better understanding of sustainability and how its components fit together, and how to get or stay on the sustainability path.

Please contact us to schedule this powerful 1-day workshop for your organization.

This workshop is available under ETCI’s GSA-MAS contract.
